SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: February 1, 2018 to April 30, 2018. All entries must be received by April 30, 2018 at 11:59 pm ET.
HOW TO ENTER: You may enter by visiting JackDaniels.com/NBA to complete and submit an entry form you will find there, including entry information and your personal, all time NBA Legends dream team for your chance to score a spot at Jack’s NBA Legends Basketball Camp. The information consumers provide will only be used for participation in the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey NBA Legends Camp 2018 Sweepstakes and for any future communications, should you opt in.
Limit one entry per day.
All entries must be received by April 30, 2018 (11:59 pm ET)
WINNER: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. Drawing will be conducted on or about May 5, 2018, and winner will be notified by phone and / or email from Jack Daniel’s, on or about May 5, 2018. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman, NBA Properties Inc., the National Basketball Association (the NBA”), the NBA member teams, and NBA Media Ventures, LLC (collectively, the “NBA Entities”), and each of their respective parents, ultimate parents, affiliates, agents and subsidiaries, as well as the advertising/promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. Holders of beverage alcohol wholesale or retail licenses and their employees are not eligible to enter or win the promotion.
GRAND PRIZE: There will be two (2) Grand Prizes awarded. Grand Prize consists of a trip to the Jack Daniel Distillery, Lynchburg Tennessee, arriving FRIDAY June 22, 2018—departing Sunday, June 24, 2018. Trip includes round trip coach class airfare for winner and four (4) winner guests from airport closest to winner’s home to Nashville TN, travel to the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, two nights’ accommodation at the distillery (camper)(double occupancy), and an assortment of special apparel. The trip will take place from Friday June 22, 2018 through Sunday June 24, 2018. (A.R.V. $3000). If Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s determines that the winner lives within driving distance of Lynchburg, the winner will be transported to Lynchburg via car service. Alcohol is not part of any prize. Prize value may vary depending on point of departure.
If potential winner cannot attend on dates specified, he/she must forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
There is no substitution or transfer of prize and prize may not be redeemed for cash value.
Beverage alcohol is not a part of any of the sweepstakes prize. All Federal state and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of prize winner. A 1099 will be issued.
Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Entrants by participating, agree that Brown-Forman, the NBA Entities, and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by Entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any sweepstakes.
NOTICE/CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential Winner will be notified by email and/or phone from Jack Daniel’s on or about May 5th, 2018. Winner may be required to provide mailing address for delivery of prize documents. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Grand Prize winner may be required to accept the Grand Prize within ten (10) days of notification. If Grand Prize winner does not accept the Grand Prize within ten (10) days he/she may forfeit the Grand Prize and an alternate winner may be selected. In the event it is necessary to select an alternate winner the time line for notification/acceptance may vary. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted and may not be redeemed for cash value. Unclaimed Prize may not be awarded. By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman/Jack Daniel’s, the NBA Entities, and each of their respective, parents, ultimate parents, affiliates and subsidiaries and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman and NBA Entities, for promotional and advertising purposes in connection with this promotion and general use of the images submitted with entries, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice, city/state of residence, photos, video or film clips and/or other visual likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation (financial or otherwise), permission or notification. A 1099 will be issued for tax purposes on the Grand Prize. Guests of winner must be 21 years of age and may be required to sign a similar Affidavit/Release.
