ABOUT JACK DANIELS HONEY WHISKEY & LEMONADE

For about as long as we’ve been making Tennessee Whiskey here in Lynchburg, people have been enjoying it with lemonade. And when we introduced Tennessee Honey whiskey a few years back, that tradition got an update.

After all, nothing pairs with sour lemonade like a little bit of sweetness. This whiskey lemonade cocktail will give you the perfect balance of tart citrus, softened by a light sugar accent which will leave your taste buds tingling.

WHAT ELSE PAIRS WELL WITH JACK’S TENNESSEE HONEY WHISKEY?

If lemonade cocktails don’t hit the spot for you, then you can achieve a similar citrus flavour profile using fresh limes. Simply switch out the lemonade for the juice of one lime and top it up with still or sparkling water. Alternatively, try ginger beer for a warming spice which elevates the honey undertones.

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE LEMONADE

If you’re looking to impress guests with a more sophisticated version of this drink, using homemade lemonade will always add a nice touch. It can easily be made in advance by juicing lemons, then mixing with water. In a separate cup, add boiling water and your sugar to dissolve before combining this with your lemon drink. Homemade lemonade will offer a refreshing kick to this smooth drink and let you tailor the sweetness to your taste.

Consider some extra garnishing as a final step. A lemon honey rim or lemon peel adds a professional touch, whilst a couple of blackberries will compliment the other flavours andalso add a pop of colour.
