A SQUARE BOTTLE FOR A SQUARE SHOOTER
Can you imagine Old No. 7 in anything but that familiar square bottle? Well, it actually took quite a bit of convincing to get Mr. Jack to consider putting his whiskey in a bottle at all and even longer to get him to pick a bottle. When a local glass salesman finally showed Mr. Jack a square bottle, Jack remarked, “A square bottle for a square shooter.” That was in 1895, and Old No. 7 has been in a square bottle ever since. This 1L replica, released in 1992, commemorates that first Jack Daniel’s bottle.
