Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey highlights the modern day world-class whiskey expertise of our Distillery while honoring our past, and nods to Mr. Jack's original bottles with an age-statement included on the label.
Over the past decade, the ebb and flow of our whiskey into the barrel wood of our handmade American White Oak barrels driven by the seasons and varied temperatures at different locations in our rick houses resulted in an intense and unique whiskey. On the nose you will smell cooked apple and caramel with soft oak. The richness on the palate coats the mouth with flavors of rich molasses, chocolate, and barrel spices that finishes incredibly long and warm. More aging in the barrel means more complexity, more flavor, more layers of oak, char and spice for a distinctive taste.
It has been around 120 years since the Jack Daniel Distillery offered a whiskey labeled at ten years of age or greater. But for the past decade we’ve been experimenting to create a whiskey that would honor the liquid Mr. Jack crafted at the end of the 1800s while keeping up with the growing demand for our whiskey around the world. We hope you agree that this very special whiskey was worth the wait.
