Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue
It's rare that whiskey-making takes a backseat to much of anything in Lynchburg, Tennessee. THE JACK is one exception. One weekend in October, barbecue competitors from across the country and world converge here to wield their grilling and smoking expertise in the final competition of the year.
Smell the sweet smoke and savor the flavors for yourself and join us as we cook up a spectacular weekend of events.
- Event Details:
- BBQ Bash in the Hollow takes place at the Lynchburg Welcome Center parking lot, directly across from the Jack Daniel's Visitor Center. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with live music beginning shortly after and continuing through the evening.
- Tickets & Admission:
- Concert wristbands can be picked up at the Jack Daniel's Visitor Center on event day from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. After 5:00PM, check-in moves to the Lynchburg Welcome Center.
- What To Bring:
- This is a general admission event with no provided seating, so guests are encourages to bring their own chairs. Unopened water bottles are permitted, but outside coolers are not allowed.
- Food, Drinks, & Parking:
- A variety of food vendors will be on-site, accepting cash and credit cards. Each ticket includes three Jack Daniel's drink tickets, and free parking is available at the Visitor Center, Welcome Center, and Lynchburg Town Square. The event is rain or shine and fully ADA accessible.
