Gentleman Jack Peach Highball

The only peach that's always in season.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz
  • 1 oz

    Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 oz

    Peach Syrup

  • Lemon-Lime Soda

  • Peach Slices

  • 45 ml
  • 30 ml

    Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 30 ml

    Peach Syrup

  • Lemon-Lime Soda

  • Peach Slices

Instructions

  1. Shake all but soda with ice.

  2. Top with soda.

  3. Garnish with peach slices.

About this Drink

A highball cocktail is just a fancy name for whiskey and any type of mixer. Traditionally served over ice in a large, straight-sided Collins glass, the cocktail is over a century old and the question of who first served one is a mystery. Some folks say it was brought to the United States by an English actor. Some say it was created by a bartender strapped for ingredients. All we know is this one is made for summer.
